Wednesdays with Nathan apologizes for recent inactivity. Nathan recently had some work done. As you can see, he is none the worse for wear.

The same cannot be said for his on-again off-again roommate, who recently suffered a nasty fall. Nathan nursed him day and night.

In this meditation exercise, Nathan remained in a prone position for hours in order to achieve an empathic communion with the injured party, thereby shattering the hierarchy that ordinarily estranges medical professional and patient.

Wednesday No. 7: September 6, 2006


When Nathan paid his first visit to his upstate weekend home a few weeks back, he had, shall we say, creative differences with the yard, to say the least. Indeed, his repulsion despite repeated attempts at immersion by force was so absolute that the phrase "paws on grass" became synonymous in his aunt and uncle's household with "anxiety-induced paralysis," as illustrated below:


To his own relief most of all, Nathan has found harmony with his surroundings.
